Pia Männikkö, ‘Still live II’, 2011
‘In Still live the material has a life of its own. After recording my movements clay starts to dry, shrink, crack and change colour. The process will continue through the exhibition until the clay has lost its mobility. After the exhibition in Armory Gallery the clay will be recycled and made moist again, it will have yet another life.’
