Thomas Hauri
The starting point of Hauri’s work is architecture. Indoor and outdoor spaces, vacant industrial buildings or facades (post) modernist social architecture provide the basis for more abstract compositions in which superposition, interleaving, and ultimately the complete repainting of the original motif creates ever new, picturesque image spaces.
Thomas Hauri’s medium is watercolor - a technique that allows little corrections, and in the continuous overpainting ultimately leads to an extinction of the subject. At the same time, the work moves in the field of tension between drawing and painting.

I love this aesthetic
Orly Hangar - Felix Candela.
The hyperbolic parabolic forms became Candela’s hallmark and he built many factories and churches around Mexico City using these forms.
