The human body has no capacity to remember physical pain.
Once felt or perceived (a result of the exchange of sodium across a neuron) it can never be felt again, at least not physically.
All of our sensations (excluding physical pain), cognitions, auditory and visual information are encoded separately in our brain. Meaning we can recall, rebuild and relive the entirety of a moment with out the pain.
